Children Mending Heart's 6th Annual Empathy Rocks Fundraiser

We were so happy to participate in Children Mending Heart's 6th Annual EMPATHY ROCKS fundraiser last weekend. The event was a huge success celebrating and raising funds for art and educational programs for disadvantaged youth.

CMH founder, Lysa Heslov, created this foundation to give children worldwide the opportunity to find their voice through creative expression. With the help of teachers and art/cultural specialists, CMH offers workshops for kids, both here and abroad, in photography, art, music, dance, drama and so much more.

This event showcased just how much they like to have fun. With everything from a half pipe to manicures, everyone surely had a great time while raising funds and awareness for such a great foundation.

As a bazaar sponsor we offered our products at great prices and donated not only 100% of our profit to the charity, but all of our remaining merchandise as well. A representative of CMH told us that they often partner with shelters in need of clothing. One of them recently burned down and they lost everything. We were happy to offer these items and hopefully help them get back on their feet.

Professional surfer, Rob Machado was honored for his outstanding work with his charity, Rob Machado Foundation. It was created to support charities dedicated to environmental programs worldwide. Their mission is to provide funding and initiate educational programs focused on helping children understand their contribution towards a healthy earth. He and his wife, Sophie, welcomed a brand new baby boy 5 months ago. We must say they are already KicKee Pants fans, and have a few of our Poppy Surf Trip printed items of course!

It was great to have fashion designer, Rachel Roy and reality star Kyle Richards stop by to show their admiration for our brand. They said it made them want to have more babies! We say, mission accomplished! :)

We had such a great time! Looking forward to next year!!
