My name is Heather Horton and our family is a 2 time NICU graduate of St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, OK.  Our first daughter Harper was born at 29 weeks weighing 2lbs 1oz, she will be 4 in May.  Our second daughter Hadley was born at 31 weeks weighing 2lbs 8oz.  Actually today is Hadley's 1st birthday!  So picking our NICU would be an awesome present and a way to honor the nurses to loved our girls like their own!

Both of our girls came early due to me having Preeclampsia and extremely high blood pressure, so delivering them was the only way to make sure we both survived.

When we were preparing to have our first daughter, Dr. Rachel Jackson the Neonatologist came to or hospital room and talked with my husband and I about the journey we were about to embark on.  She stayed and answered all of our questions and helped calm the nerves of to very scared parents.  When it was time to deliver Jenna Sannito the NICU nurse who was present at my c-section walked over touched me on the shoulder and told me she was going to do everything in her power to take care of our baby.  That simple shoulder touch was God's way of sending a guardian angel for our sweet Harper.

Both of our girls spent 6 weeks in the NICU and we have never been so impressed with a facility than with the staff at St. Francis.  We were there all the time and the nurses were so engaging, encouraging and kind to us.  They taught us how to take their temperatures, change these incredibly tiny diapers and how to hold your baby with out getting tangled in the web of cords!  These nurses became our family.  We talked to them more than our own family!  If anything changed, they would call or text to make sure we were aware!  They walked us through every ECHO, CAT Scan, PICC line, heal prick and eye exam.  They explained everything to us so we knew exactly what was going on.  Before every procedure they would pray over our tiny miracles, that meant the world to us as parents.

These woman are now forever apart of our girls story and I would love nothing more than to honor them with a donation from KicKee Pants!  One of the nurses (Sarah Howarth) actually bought us our first KicKee pants pjs and we have been in love ever since!

Help us Celebrate and Support NICU Babies

Every day thousands of babies are born too soon, too small, and often very sick. We are here to celebrate them as well as raise awareness for NICU support nationwide.

This donation campaign is very special to us as we have chosen to give back to the NICUs that mean something to you. Help us give back to them so they can make the stay of a future family a comfortable one.

We are encouraging, YOU, or amazing KP fans, to send a gift, big or small, to this NICU or another one of your choice from our approved list , referred by the 25 KP followers who have shared their courageous stories with us. On behalf of these little ones, let's pull together and SPREAD THE LOVE!  We will be matching every single donation that comes in 1 for 1, until April 25th. Let the giving begin!
